Penumbra is an independent alternative/psych rock band from Mandan, ND, established in 2023. They write and perform original music, as well as re-imagined cover songs from artists they like.

Penumbra leans into atmosphere — warm, human, candlelit performance energy paired with melodic weight. Original songs sit alongside re-imagined covers from artists the band loves, building a darkly luminous live show.
